The twelve Jyotirlingas are revered shrines of Lord Shiva spread across India, from Somnath in Gujarat to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. Explore each Jyotirlinga, then choose a guided yatra that covers one, several or all twelve.
According to Shaiva tradition, a Jyotirlinga is a shrine where Lord Shiva is worshipped as a column of light. The twelve Jyotirlingas are spread across Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu.
Many pilgrims visit them in regional groups — for example Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar together in Madhya Pradesh, or Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar and Grishneshwar in Maharashtra.

The twelve shrines are spread across India, so most pilgrims cover them in regional circuits rather than one trip:
Kedarnath is open only in the summer season, so plan that circuit separately.

Gujarat (Somnath, Nageshwar), Andhra Pradesh (Mallikarjuna), Madhya Pradesh (Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar), Uttarakhand (Kedarnath), Maharashtra (Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar, Grishneshwar), Uttar Pradesh (Kashi Vishwanath), Jharkhand (Baidyanath) and Tamil Nadu (Rameshwaram).
Yes, but it is a long journey. Because Kedarnath is open only seasonally, a complete circuit must be planned within its opening window.
